An assigned "Butterfly Attendant" is helpful to ensure your release is a success.
Their job is to ensure the butterflies don't get too cold or too warm, and don't get forgotten in the excitement of the day.
Butterflies won't fly in the rain.
It must be at least 60 degrees for butterflies to fly. We will not ship butterflies if we know the weather is inappropriate. (such as to Iowa in January)
Butterflies won't fly after dark.
All butterflies must be shipped Next Day Air-to arrive by 10:30am. A signature is required for delivery.
Instructions for caring for your butterflies until the release will be included with your shipment.
